Weight Loss Shakes | ViSalus By Shay

So Chad and I have been discussing our challenge and I am excited to get started. We are going to be staring it November 1st and we are both giving it 100%. Both of our goals is to lose body fat, tone and just be healthier people.

I want to make sure that I am taking care of myself so I can teach my kids how to take care of themselves and not just be that mama who does everything for everyone else. Basically, I’m sick of just letting myself go while everyone else flourishes you know?

I’m looking for people to join with me and really take it seriously. I will be sticking to 2 shakes a day, fruits, veggies, some awesome super foods that will aid in belly fat loss and working out. I’m not cutting out carbs because I think that’s a bad idea but I will reduce them.

I’m not sure if I’m going to set up a weekly workout, I’ll try to add some here for you to do, but I’ll think about it more tomorrow once we clean out our old place since we moved this past weekend.

This is definitely going to be hard as we have Thanksgiving and Christmas but I figure if I am pretty good and teaching myself better control with my food and chocolate intake that everything will fall in to place.

I am excited that I will be whipping Chad’s butt in this challenge. It will be nice to have a buddy to work out with and to kick their butt at the same time . I already taste the winning coming through… and it tastes delicious!

So many people want to know if they chose the right direct sales company. What are the characteristics of a solid company? How do I know that I made the right decision?

Those are questions I asked myself when I was looking for a company to promote. I want to lay out a few things and I want to tell you why I chose to promote Visalus and the Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge.

Questions to Ask

Has it been around for a while?
Are the Accredited with the Better Business Bureau?
Have they been around awhile?
Where are they going?
Are they doing social media training and getting in with the younger generation?
What is their commission plan?
Will I ever get my product free?

I’m not going to go through and answer each question as I’m just pooped today and I am ready for bed. But I want to focus on the key ones for me. First and foremost, they work. I have lost 25-30lbs and I haven’t gained any of it back. I did stop taking the shakes for two months, quite frankly because I was lazy LOL, but I didn’t gain anything except 1-2 fluctuating lbs back.

I actually promoted Melaleuca because they have amazing products, but their business model and commission structure was terrible. I would never get my product free and as I got higher in the ranks, I was required to get more and more product that I was having a hard time using up as they were cleaning products. This is the same with Shaklee. A friend of mine let me try their home cleaning products and they were phenomenal but the commission structure, the age of the company and the lack of the updated training didn’t appeal to me.

I looked in to Shakeology because I loved their actual workout programs but the shakes taste gross. They have amazing ingredients, are so healthy for you and wonderful, but if I cannot stomach a shake, they would sit on my shelf and I don’t want to pay double what I’m paying now for a shake that I won’t take.

I looked in to things like Scensty, Pampered Chef, Pink Zebra and a few other places like these and they are all great products and I have purchased them, but these are the things people cut out when they don’t have money and people usually don’t buy over and over again. With weight loss products, if people stick to the plan and do what they are supposed to do, people will come back each month to get it and promote because it worked for them. Honestly, weight loss products are more likely to be bought and that people can justify purchasing because they are working on their health.

Now for the commission plan, I chose Visalus because it allows customers to get their product free. If they have 3 friends who saw them doing great on the challenge and they bought shakes from them within a month (ex. Nov. 1-30), their next month’s kit would be free (all they would pay would be the shipping costs for the kit). And it doesn’t cost the customer extra money to have their own websites like it does with some companies. And it allows promoters to get their products free as well.

I chose Visalus because of the family that I have. People join direct sales companies to help people, make money and to make new and lifelong friends. I have this amazing family that I don’t even have here. I have friends through the USA and Canada and I talk to them regularly and see them at the events. When I need someone to help me get it together, I get a phone call from my team and they encourage me, they make me want to be a better person. My team pushes and encourages me and I love that. If you have found that with your company, you are very fortunate. I worked other companies and the only thing the other companies pushed was for me to get sales and if I didn’t they stopped talking to me. I have never felt that here.

And finally, I chose Visalus because of the age of the company and the Founders. Most of the other companies are ran by people older than my parents, there isn’t social media training and people are having to go to other places to learn that training. With ViSalus, there is a Facebook training in our back office and at our Regional and National events, they teach us how to utilize our social media. I want to be with a company that is growing and that isn’t just holding still. We average anywhere from 100,000-150,000 NEW customers each month. That’s each month! We are growing, we are fresh, we are young and the people my age want to be apart of a fun, revitalizing and amazing company.

Honestly, I love direct sales because there aren’t many ways that allow regular people to help other people create a living and make good money. I also find that regular companies, like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc only make money for the people at the top and with companies like the one I promote, it allows people like me to bring in an extra $1000-1500/month. Those are just a few reasons why I chose to promote ViSalus. I definitely want you to review your company, your commission structure and your ultimate goal with your company and what you want to accomplish.
