But I’m not! I’m sticking with my challenge and I’m going to rock it!!!
So last year, I started running and I was doing pretty awesome and then I stopped because I had some major shin splints going on. Well I started up running again in
February and low and behold shin splints were back. And apparently it got so bad that I now have a stress fracture
.
The old me would have stopped my challenge right now because there’s “nothing I could do” and I have to take it easy. While I do have to take it easy, I realize that I still have it better than so many people and that I will have to be resourceful. After 1-2 weeks (Chad is telling me two LOL) I can use the bike and the elliptical, which you bet I will be using.
Until then. I can do girly push ups, I can use my arms to lift, I can do ab workouts. So while this changes my idea of how to do things, I will not allow it to hold me back.
I must be honest, my first 90 Day Challenge I had amazing results. Then I’ve helped everyone else on their challenge, on their weight loss, how to eat foods, etc and I forgot about myself.
This challenge is different. While I still want to help people lose weight and feel great about themselves I want to feel great about me and so that is what I’m doing. I’m pushing through and I’m going to be consistent because that is the most important part.
Yep, I’m even doing push ups! No seriously, I’m not giving up at all!
I hope that you join me on my challenge, whether its to support me or whether its on your own challenge to bettering yourself, losing weight or whatever you are challenging yourself to.
